The International Congress for Not-for-Profits 2023 brings together the greatest minds in not-for-profit, from management to in-the-field teams and our aim is to make sure that everyone is represented.
Meet some of our speakers:

Verusha Moonsamy
Women’s Rights Minister
Verusha has alway been politically aware and active, and she has been instrumental in advocating for women’s rights in developing countries. She has helped to set up charities in countries where forced marriage and spousal abuse are rife, and where girls and women do not have equal education opportunities.
Learn more about setting up charities in countries with unstable political situations, about making a difference in others’ lives, and cultural sensitivity in a series of presentations and panel discussions led by Verusha. She will be available for one-to-one sessions on day three of the conference.

Sven Olaffson
Chief Emergency Director, UNICEF
Sven has a faultless track record of managing relief operations all over the world, from politically displaced communities and natural disasters to health operations. As a former member of the Norwegian Army, he has great experience with different environments, understanding communities and what they need.
Sven will speak about his knowledge of on-the-ground operations, working with communities and political leaders. He is also the MC for the fundraising silent auction at the closing dinner event.

Percy MacDougal
Relief Fund Director, WWF
An integral part of providing support to communities and the natural world, is funding. Raising money is an important and accepted part of running a not-for-profit and Percy has 37 years of experience with fundraising, both peer-to-peer and business-to-business. Involving stakeholders in the good work is an important piece of this process, and Percy will go through how to successfully manage relationships in his session.
He will be available for one-to-one sessions on day three, and will lead several workshops to share knowledge of making the most of fundraising opportunities.

Zodwa Mhlandhla
Community Development Director, WHA
Zodwa started working with her local community as a child, and has always been aware that there are groups that need support from others. Her awareness of the needs of others has sent her around the world with relief charities, and ultimately to the position of decision maker within large global organisations.
She will share her experiences of working in communities, cultural sensitivity, and the corporate side of not-for-profit. Zodwa’s sessions will focus on group discussion and inclusion of all points of view.
Mission
